آسيف هي مجموعة خبراء متخصصين في تطوير الأدوات المالية الإسلامية. منذ الثمانينات استطاع رئيسها إدارة مشاريع مبنية على أدوات مالية وفقا ً للشريعة الإسلامية. في العام 1997 نشر الرئيس "مشروع جيوناردو" وهو عبارة عن دراسة تجريبية لتطبيق المالية الاسلامية في إيطاليا. في العام 2006 آسيف قامت بتمويل و ترتيب أول عملية مرابحة عقارية في إيطاليا.
آسيف تواصل أنشطتها بمشاركة أكثر من خبير في المالية الإسلامية في أوروبا، المملكة العربية السعودية و دول الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا و يترأس رئيسها بانتظام أهم المؤتمرات العالمية المتعلقة بهذا الموضوع.
